A busy couple of weeks

As my headline states, it has been a busy couple of weeks, I have been providing holiday cover for my work colleague for two weeks. Now back to normal I hope.

Although this week looks to be interesting, Monday in Swansea for a meeting with the (HOVIP) Heads of the Valley Inititive consultant.

Thursday I chair the Torfaen Voice business club meeting, only two events but with work and producing a number if ID cards the week will soon fill up with activities.

The Torfaen voice meeting at Cwmbran sees our guest speakers as Derek Brockway a quite renowned local boy and national weather presenter.

ID cards a little quiet at the moment, then again Xmas rapidly approaching, security and ID not the first thing on peoples minds.

Never mind soon be January. 

Disaster hits my Renault 19

After many years of good service my Renault 19 has gone to the great scrap yard in the sky. It has served the family well for thirteen years, unfortunately at this MOT it failed miserably with a possible repair bill approaching six hundred pound. So the sad decision had to be made to scrap the car.

After a local search of Cwmbran I managed to locate a Peugeot estate car at the right price, so now I am the proud owner of a quite newish estate with all the toys. What a difference in the drive of a relatively new car as opposed to the thirteen year old Renault. Mind you if the water pump had not gone and a rear spring & welding & a lighting fault &. I would have kept the car as I think I have grown up with it in a way. Never mind onward and upward as they say.

I hope the Peugeot will provide reliable transport for a number of years both for the family and for my Id card business, The business has been quite vibrant for a number of weeks so I hope that I am able to keep the momentum for Id card going.  Cwmbran is quite busy of late with a great deal of new development so the requirements of having a better vehicle with the increased traffic is a good safety factor.  

Not a lot else of interest this week other than the fact that I have teamed up with the boy's from Golden Dragon Ltd in a new venture , which I will mention as time moves on.
